Light Painting is an art form.

To me, light painting is an expression of our true self. I have reasons to believe that our bodies emits light and that we've been, in a subtle way, light painting all along.

Light Painting Sculptures - Four dimensional art

Light Painting Sculptures – Four dimensional art

I used my skills as a light painter to work on the idea of the light painting sculpture. I almost want to say a kinetic light sculpture because of the look and the feeling it gives, but in reality these are all movements done by hand in a studio on a black background with the...

MORA – By Dominic Besner and the MX Gallery

For the live show Mora, I was asked by the MX Gallery to light paint the characters just before they went on stage. The challenge I had was to work quickly, each individual session was only between 5 and 10 minutes. Usually I take three hours to light paint. I said yes to the project...
Sport shoes - Testing

Sport shoes – Testing

For a while I’ve been thinking of shooting sports items and a sport concept with light energy using light painting. So I started doing some tests with the help Victorine Yokthot and Sylvain Lavoie. Sylvain built a black metal rack to hold up the shoe in different positions.
